Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” will begin its theatrical run this weekend.
Prologue and Trailer Details
The nearly six-minute prologue will be shown on December 12, before IMAX 70mm screenings of “Sinners” and “One Battle After Another.” A shorter version of the trailer will be featured ahead of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” starting December 19, while the prologue continues before “Avatar 3” screenings.
Nolan favors the IMAX format for the prologue, as “The Odyssey” is the first film entirely shot with IMAX cameras. His previous film, “Oppenheimer,” enjoyed significant box office success in IMAX, attracting viewers nationwide.
