Future releases teased
Wario World is now available on the Switch, adding another classic game to the platform. Developed by the Japanese team Treasure, known for the games Gunstar Heroes and Sin and Punishment, Wario World was first released in 2003. It’s Wario’s first and only 3D platformer, and now it’s back for fans to enjoy.
Since June’s launch of the GameCube ‘Nintendo Classics’ library, gamers have seen titles like Super Mario Strikers, Luigi’s Mansion, and Chibi-Robo added. The collection already includes beloved games such as F-Zero GX, SoulCalibur II, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
Upcoming Titles in GameCube Library
Nintendo has hinted at more classic titles making their way to the Switch 2 library. Fans can anticipate games like Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Pokémon Colosseum, expanding the nostalgia factor for gamers who grew up with the GameCube era.
This growing library aims to attract both nostalgic players and new fans. It adds depth and variety to the Switch’s offerings.
Revisiting the Classics
With Wario World joining the roster, it sparks the question: Are players excited to revisit this title? Many may remember playing it back in the GameCube days, drawn in by its quirky gameplay and vibrant graphics. Returning to Wario’s “garlic-fueled rampage” offers a mix of nostalgia and fun for both new and returning players.
