Overview Assassin Creed Mirage Valley of Memory
Ubisoft will release Valley of Memory, a free major update for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, on November 18, 2025. The update offers up to six hours of additional gameplay and story content, set before the main game’s finale. Players follow Basim as he journeys to AlUla in search of his missing father while facing new threats from a band of robbers.[1][2]
New Region and Story
Set in 9th-century AlUla, the update introduces a visually rich region featuring deserts, oases, and iconic historical landmarks such as Musa Ibn Musayr fortress, the Valley of the Stones, and the necropolis of Hegra.
The narrative expands Basim’s story with a new main quest alongside side quests, contracts, and assassination targets.
New cultural elements include the ability to play the oud, unlocked via music sheet collection through parkour challenges.[3][2][1]
Gameplay Improvements
Replayable Missions: All black box missions and contracts become replayable via the “Animus Sequences” on the objective board or in the world. These come with unique challenges like avoiding Eagle Vision, time limits, or stealth-only kills, which unlock exclusive rewards upon completion.[4][5][2][1]
Parkour Enhancements: Manual jumping is now enabled, allowing fluid parkour sequences previously impossible. A new control scheme smooths rooftop transitions. Side and back eject moves are now fully customizable and can be performed without clear landing spots.[6][1][4][3]
Skills and Tools: The new “Engineer 2” skill lets players equip all level 1 tool modifications, plus a new level 3 modification is added to each tool. This expansion enables more powerful and flexible gameplay strategies.[7][1][3]
Difficulty Modes: Two new difficulty presets, “Hardened” and “Ultimate Assassin,” are introduced, alongside customizable difficulty sliders for a personalized challenge.[3][7]
Development and Availability
The update is developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and Paris, supported by Ubisoft teams in Bucarest, Da Nang, and Montpellier.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the Valley of Memory update will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and iOS [1][3][2].
