Apple has announced changes to its executive leadership team, including Jennifer Newstead becoming the general counsel in March 2026, following Kate Adams’ retirement.

Jennifer Newstead to Join Apple

Jennifer Newstead will take over as Apple’s general counsel on March 1, 2026. She will start as senior vice president in January 2026, reporting to CEO Tim Cook while being part of the executive team.

Newstead replaces Kate Adams, who has held the role since 2017 and will retire late next year. Newstead will also combine the Legal and Government Affairs teams under her leadership.
