The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has recalled various baby products sold on Amazon due to safety hazards. These include risks of exposure to toxins and drowning.
Infant walkers pose fall hazards
Over 2,600 infant walkers have been recalled because they do not stop at staircase edges, creating a risk of falls. Additionally, the design allows children’s legs to slip through, leading to potential head entrapment.
The recalled “Uuoeebb” walkers were sold in gray, black, and pink for $60 to $90. They have the label “production batch: 7654” under the seat. Consumers must stop using these walkers immediately and contact BaoD at [email protected] for a refund.
Baby bath seats risk tipping over
Nearly 9,000 baby bath seats have been recalled due to tipping hazards, posing drowning risks. The bath seats were sold for $34 to $40 and come in blue, gray, pink, and yellow with the model number “YD-1958” on the back.
Consumers should stop using these bath seats right away and email BenTalk at [email protected] for a full refund.
Costumes contain harmful chemicals
A children’s mermaid costume has been recalled for containing phthalates, chemicals banned in children’s products. These are toxic and can have serious health effects if ingested.
More than 1,000 costumes were sold for about $30, featuring blue, purple, and pink fabric. Consumers should take these away from children and contact SKCAIHT Direct for a refund. They are also advised to cut the costume and send a photo of it to [email protected].
