Every article results from human editorial discipline. Volunteer writers and editors follow a multi-stage review that ensures factual accuracysource transparency, and contextual integrity. From headline to verdict, each story is reviewed by multiple human editors — never written by automated tools.

Faharas operates as a collaborative publishing network, not a traditional newsroom. Contributors create original work under shared editorial and ethical standards. They may monetize their individual pages through personal advertising accounts, such as Google AdSense, and retain 100 percent of their earnings.

When contributors choose to place ads, all advertising relationships are handled directly between the contributor and the ad providerFaharas is not involved in any advertising agreements, payments, or financial transactions. This zero-commission structure preserves editorial independence and strengthens public trust.

Faharas.net uses AI only as a technical assistant. Automation helps detect duplication and inconsistencies, but final editorial judgment is made only by humans. Technology accelerates workflow. Humans verify truth.

Editorial Transparency and Accountability

At Faharas, trust is not a marketing slogan—it is the core of our operational framework. We believe accountability requires public, accessible records. That is why every article on Faharas.net is accompanied by a transparent log of its editorial life, ensuring factual accuracy, full traceability, and public accountability.

Editorial Timeline (Revisions)

This timeline provides a permanent record of all verified editorial updates made since the story’s initial publication. Each entry is time-stamped and includes a concise editor’s note explaining the specific change or clarification, offering a clear history of the article’s evolution.

Correction Record (Accountability)

Our commitment to truth requires us to openly acknowledge and correct errors. When a factual correction is necessary, it is permanently logged with the correction date, time, and the name of the responsible editor. All corrections remain visible to readers, upholding our promise of transparency and historical accuracy.

Editorial Verification (Reviewed)

Every article passes through the Faharas Verification Workflow, a multi-stage human review process that meticulously tracks a story’s progress from initial intake to its final verdict. This structured system ensures no claim is published without rigorous scrutiny.

Workflow Status (factcheckstatus)

Each story is assigned a status that reflects its current stage in the verification process, providing you with real-time insight into our work:

  • Not Checked – The content has been received, but verification has not yet been initiated.
  • In Progress – The story is actively undergoing fact-checking and editorial review.
  • Partially Verified – Some elements have been verified, while others are still pending completion.
  • Verified – All claims and information have been independently verified.
  • Unverifiable – There is insufficient reliable evidence to confirm or deny the claims.

Classification (final verdict)

Upon completion of the review, each claim receives a final accuracy label that provides a clear, at-a-glance understanding of its nature:

  • True – The claim is accurate and complete in all material respects.
  • False – The claim contains significant factual errors.
  • Misleading – Technically accurate but presented in a way that creates false impressions.
  • Selective – Omits crucial context or counterbalancing information.
  • Exaggerated – Overstates the significance, impact, or probability of an event.
  • Satire – The content originates from humor or irony, not factual reporting.
  • Myth – Widely believed but factually incorrect information.

These classifications are issued only after a two-pass verification system involving at least two human editors. No automated system assigns or approves verdicts.

News Status (Editorial Badge)

To provide immediate context, each story may also display a News Status Badge that defines its editorial nature:

  • None, Breaking, Exclusive, Updated, Developing, Live, Analysis, Feature, Editorial.

Multiple Sources (Transparency)

We don’t just ask for your trust; we empower you to verify it yourself. Every published article includes a public list of the verified sources used in its creation. Each source is cited with a direct, functional link, allowing any reader to trace the information back to its origin.

Together, these interconnected systems form the Faharas Editorial Transparency Framework. They ensure that every story published on Faharas.net is traceable, verifiable, and accountable from the first draft to the final verdict.

Faharas Story

The following timeline outlines how Faharas.net developed as a transparent, educational, and community-based news project.

The Faharas project began on September 1, 2019, as a free community training program in SEO, content writing, and digital publishing. Participants learned to research, verify, and write clearly — lessons that became the foundation of Faharas.net.

By September 14, 2019, the first verified articles were published, written by trained contributors under direct editorial guidance. From the start, Faharas operated as an independent, volunteer-run platform focused on verified informationtransparent sourcing, and human editorial review.

In 2020, Faharas introduced the Arbahy (My Profits) model, allowing contributors to connect their own Google AdSense accounts and receive earnings directly from GoogleFaharas does not manage, share, or process any financial transactions. All ad relationships are handled only between contributors and their chosen ad providers, preserving full editorial independence and public trust.

During the COVID-19 pandemic (2020–2021), Faharas became an educational space where volunteers improved writing skills, practiced SEO, and published verified work for a growing global audience.

On February 8, 2021, founder Audai Mousa presented Faharas on Al-Mahwar TV, introducing the project’s transparent workflow and open-education mission.

Faharas started in Arabic and expanded to English on August 19, 2022.

In 2023, as AI tools reshaped digital publishing, Faharas retrained its community for responsible AI use, ensuring human verification and editorial judgment remained central to all news decisions.

By 2025, Faharas.net relaunched with a renewed mission, a modern editorial workflow, and a network of more than 300 active contributors. The new hexagonal logo, formed by six connected “F” shapes, represents the platform’s six editorial stages: Automated Ingest, AI Triage, Primary Verification, Secondary Review, Classification, and Trust Score Update. It reflects the balance between technology and human expertise — grounded in transparency, education, and independence.

Looking ahead, Faharas plans to launch FrenchGermanSpanish, and Hindi editions in Q2 2026 to reach a broader multilingual audience. To support this growth, the team is developing Faharas Academy (Faharas.org) — a free learning hub for writers and editors worldwide.

Faharas continues to evolve as a transparent, community-driven platform dedicated to clarity, verification, and education in digital journalism

Commitment to Transparency

For Faharas, transparency is not a feature—it is our foundation. In a complex media landscape, we believe the clearest path to trust is through radical openness. This commitment is woven into the fabric of our platform, upheld through rigorous human verification, factual reporting, and an unshakable dedication to public accountability. It is a promise we keep for every reader, in every language, and in every region we serve.
